Born and raised in Wichita, I am a lifelong Kansan. I attended St. Jude's Catholic school in Wichita until my family relocated to Council Grove in the early 90's. While attending Council Grove High School I met my future wife, Heather, and we've been together since. After High School, I became a Journeyman Electrician, which led me to work for Kansas State University 16 years ago and I've worked for the university ever since. I am currently a network technician for the university's Telecommunications department.
We moved back to Council Grove from Manhattan 9 years ago to be closer to family and raise our two children in the same community we grew up in.
SCHOOLS
The quality of our schools is vital to the future of our state. We must fully fund our schools and special education.
HOSPITALS
Our district is mainly rural so we need to be sure that the healthcare that we do have is provided all the resources they need to maintain services.
NURSING HOMES
With over 10,000 baby boomers retiring each day we must provide all the resources we can take care of the generation of people that took care of us all these years.

Our schools are one of the most important investments we can make in our state and our future.
It is vital that we give them the resources to provide a quality education for all of their students. This includes the full funding of our special education departments.
